Vancouver, Canada - (September 10, 2008) - Lasso Data Systems, a leading provider of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions to the real estate industry, has announced that Charles Dai has joined the organization as Vice President of Research & Development. Mr. Dai will be responsible for leading all aspects of Lasso’s research and software development, guiding the company’s market-driven innovation to ensure Lasso continues to deliver the best functionality and business value for its clients around the world.
Mr. Dai brings 18 years of technical experience to his new position at Lasso, with 10 of those years spent in managerial roles. Most recently, he served as senior director of software development for Global Market Insite, Inc., where he managed a team of 40-plus developers, located in Vancouver, Seattle, Hungary, and Bulgaria. Mr. Dai also acted as director and co-founder for Faucon Wireless, where he served as technical architect for a PC tablet integrated with wireless components. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia, also completing third-year level coursework in electrical engineering at the university.
